FALL 2011 FORECAST
Fall 2011 has arrived and I'm sure we have all been enjoying the cooler weather, and beautiful days and evenings. It is time to get dressed up again, and we have a beautiful selection of new Fall suits and jackets by Canali. Most of the suits are in year round weights, and the jackets may have more of a fall look, but they are still light.Our Made to Measure custom suits from Ravazzolo continue to please both old and new clients. Select amongst a wide range of fabrics, choose your style, color of linings and buttons, and design your own very special suit or jacket. Ravazzolo is a handmade in Vicenza, Italy garment similar to Brioni but with a far gentler price point.
Many of you have tried our custom shirts by Mel Gambert. Judging from the reorders, you like them very much. We have a selection of new fabrics, and they have been well received. If you have not tried our custom shirts, drop by and I'll fit you and your shirts will be delivered in 21 days.
We have an incredible selection of ties by Italo Ferreti, Canali, and Tino Cosma. From Tino we also have great scarves and handmade in Italy leather gloves lined in red cashmere. Very tasty.
Lucchese has introduced a hippo boot. It is weathered and distressed looking and great for jeans. Of course we have their crocs in several colors and the matte finished chocolate and black are best sellers. John Wayne, Gary Cooper and LBJ loved them, so can you.
We have a new group of Gravati bench made shoes. The boar skin lace ups are our most popular, with the boots in leather and suede gaining new devotees.
Robert Comstock has designed his leather jackets and sportswear for many years. We have his Austrian Chamois jackets in several styles and colors. Buttery soft, yet rugged , these are heirloom pieces that you will wear for many years, then pass on to your sons.
